Bible Verse of the week! Isaiah40:29-31KJV bible

Updated: Sep 15, 2023

29. He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.

30. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall:

31. but they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk and not faint.

Even the young at heart gets weary and decrease in strength without the Lord. No matter the age, gender, color or creed without resting in our Lord Jesus you will continue to be in a state of weakness and vulnerability. When we wait it is not a physical wait, but more of a rest; be assured that where ever we are in our lives within rest, God will divinely lead us unto our destination in him. As we soar there may be difficulties, but in the wait difficulties should not deter us but will make us stronger and wiser.

In God's strength, there is a level of maturity that is cultivated by the Holy Spirit that we will need for the next dimension in him, which will reveal who we are and where he is taking us.

Just remember as we go through our day, life may get a little shaky, but our God gives us power to over come weariness by the renewing of our mind. Meditate on this verse today and you will see that your strength is renewed. Resting in God is the wait, and in this: the weight of Gods glory will be revealed through grace, surrender and obedience to his commands. Rejoice in today because tomorrow has no promise.
