Where is your Trust?

There are moments in life when we have to trust someone, right? Trust is a pillar in the foundation of a relationship. Finding someone to be there when we need them is rare. We put our hope and trust in man but we are so fickle as human beings. We can trust ourselves to get things done; is that what our creator had in mind when he created us? Are we to do everything in our strength and not remember the one who created us? The one that makes the stars and the moon hang in the balance with the firmament. Do we trust him to keep them in balance or do we trust gravity ( which was made by him)? Where is your trust? Wow, you may say "There is one question after another".
Yes, we must evaluate and reflect on Who or What we rely on, as we trust more in God's works than our own in this season and life. Sometimes we put all our trust in our ability or significant other to be the provider of things we need or even to guide us through this journey we call life. Maybe we must rely on others at times to help us during our daily activities. I have been there before. We come and go wanting our own needs met, not trusting too many people or trusting too many people to help get things done. I have realized none of these things are reliable when it comes down to it. I have tested and tasted the truth of this statement. We can fail, we can mess up but Our God will never fail. He can not, it is not in his character or nature; if it were he would not be God! In our everyday lives do we ever stop and acknowledge the lord and ask him " Is this something you want me to do... Or lord I am not sure if I should go this way with my decision" and ask him to lead us? We should commit our ways to him and let him lead us through this life because we only make the way disastrous anyway.
As the verse in "Proverbs 3:5,6 states 5. Trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean not unto thine own understanding, In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths." Our understanding of our purpose on this earth may be misconstrued but The Ancient of Days knows exactly where we ought to be. Our trust in God should be to a point where our intimacy (abiding in him as he abides in us) with him flows over into our daily lives, and our minds, and hearts are willing and able to trust him to do exactly what he has ordained for us. We should not doubt that the one who created us will lead us to every promise he has ordained. Just take some time to reflect, today. How much do you trust God vs. you trusting in yourself and others?
